Who you are dealing with

This website is operated by Fingertip Recruitment, a division of Africa Procurement Group Limited. Our registered office and main place of business is 88 Wood Street, City of London EC2V 7RS, and we also work from 112–114 Market Street, Hindley WN2 3AY.

How we act

For permanent appointments we act as an employment agency, introducing candidates to an employer who then employs them directly. For contract assignments we act as an employment business, supplying workers who remain engaged by us while they work for the client. We operate under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, and we tell every work-seeker which capacity we are acting in before we introduce them to a role.

We never charge candidates

We do not charge work-seekers any fee for finding or seeking to find them work, and we never will. Nobody should ever be asked to pay us to be put forward for a job, to have a CV reviewed, or to register. If anyone approaches you claiming to represent us and asks for money, it is not us — please tell us at info@fingertiprecruitment.co.uk.

Before we introduce you

We agree the terms with you first: the type of work, the rate or salary, the hours, the likely duration and who you would be working for. Nothing goes to a client without your agreement, and we confirm the terms of an assignment in writing before it starts.

Terms of business with clients

Fees, notice, rebate arrangements and the rest of the commercial terms are set out in our terms of business, which we issue to a client and agree in writing before any introduction or supply. Nothing on this website forms a contract or a binding offer. Where a description of our services here differs from the signed terms of business, the signed terms apply.

Equal opportunities

We select candidates on the basis of their skills, experience and suitability for the role, and on nothing else. We will not act on a client instruction that would discriminate against a candidate on any ground protected by the Equality Act 2010.

Using this website

The content of this site is for general information. We keep it current and correct as far as we reasonably can, but we give no warranty that it is complete or accurate, and any reliance you place on it is at your own risk. The text, artwork and design of this site belong to us; you are welcome to read, print and share it, but not to republish it as your own. Where we link to other websites we have no control over their content.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, tell us at info@fingertiprecruitment.co.uk or call 0207 183 3419. We will acknowledge a complaint within two working days and give you a full response within ten. Candidates and workers can also raise concerns with the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate.
